Portrait Panagiotis

"I got to know about this Master’s program from former students, which were enthusiast about it. At that time, I was doing an internship in an SPS lab for my Erasmus. Later, I realized that the study program was very close to my interests and that the research level has very high. I believe that this program could provide a strong academic background and the proper network to stand out in the field of Plant Sciences.

The program is largely based on a practical approach and personal work rather than on traditional one-way lectures. Importantly, the teaching methods allows the development of both a strong scientific background and soft skills, such as presentation, scientific writing, teamwork.

Furthermore, the continuous interaction with various specialists helps us to form a comprehensive picture and, personally, will help me to find the subject that I would like to pursue in the future.

My experience as an international student is positive. The university makes efforts to integrate international students into university life, so I feel included.

For the next academic year, I would like to join the Systems Biology and Synthetic Biology M2 at the Paris-Saclay University because it aligns with my interests and I find this field very innovative."
